Many people who would benefit from using a mobile phone can be discouraged by features that appear complicated and unnecessary. At Vodafone, we are committed to making our mobile services available to everyone who needs them. In particular, we're determined to improve the range and accessibility of our services to older customers and customers with a disability.
Customers who are blind or visually impaired
Customers who are deaf or have a hearing impairment
Customers with physical impairment or poor grip
Vodafone in Action
Actions speak louder than words, which is why we are developing products designed to make life easier. We've worked with a number of key organisations, to create mobile phone services for people with a wide range of disabilities. In addition, Vodafone is a founding supporter of the AMTA Mobile Phone Industry Good Practice Guide: Accessibility for People with Disabilities. The Guide is designed to advise and assist the mobile industry on how to make their products and services more accessible to Australia's consumers with a disability.
